THE DREAM- I dreamt this for a week and a half in a row every night until the event actually happened in my life.
I was in my friend Emma’s house. I walked… into the room and then saw my crush (soon to be my first boyfriend in reality) standing in the back of the room behind the pool table… My heart started pounding just automatically knowing he was going to ask me out.
I started to shake just a little and was very nervous. He was the first boy I ever liked. He said ” I need to tell you something. Something I have been meaning to tell you for some time now.” My heart started pounding so much I thought he could hear it. I then said” Okay, I also have something I have been meaning to tell you as well.” I then walked over to the pool table and sat on top of it.
I looked down and saw my Lavender and Purple striped dress on. I saw him in khaki shorts and a navy blue shirt. Then he came around to the side I sat on the pool table, and we then stared at each other which seemed like forever. But was probably only for a minute.
He then said “I have had a crush on you for some time now, and have been hoping that you have the same feelings for me. I know we are really young and it is okay if you are not ready because it makes sense. Even if you do say no to what I’m about to ask you I want you to know that no matter what happens between us I will always love you.”
I responded “I have had the hardest time not just running to you and telling you I love you from the day we met. What are you going to ask me?”
He responded, “I love you so! much that I can’t hold it in anymore. We are in every class together, and have the closest relationship anyone could have. I really love you and even if you do say no it is okay. I don’t want to pressure you in any way. Will you please go out with me? I understand if you don’t want to, but I think we would be a great couple together. Because we don’t really know how to do this yet, I have the utter most confidence that we can figure it out together. So what do you say? Will you do me the honors of making me the happiest person ever?”
I then immediately said” Yes, oh yes I will! I can’t believe this is really happening! Oh I love you so much!” We then hugged and then we just stood there holding each other for the rest of the dream and then it blacked out.

Though most dreams are dominantly symbolic, this dream seems more literal prophesying a romantic relationship between you and the young man! One way we know that is that it was fulfilled very soon in real life!
The pool table is such a confirming element that the dream was prophetic. It speaks of attempting to find the right angle to approach somethin! That couldn’t depict the real-life situation more perfectly!
Your pink and lavendar speaks of hope/faith in being seen as royalty. That’s exactly what you hoped for! His navy shirt identifies him as hoping for a strong communion/connection.
It’s a tale as old as time. The dream is about something universal as it took place in Emma’s house and her name means “universal.”
We expect that the dream was a bit exaggerated from how it played out in reality, but we believe God is clearly revealing what is in the young man’s heart at this point. A word of warning. That the young man says he will love you forever is in his heart now. There is no guarantee that it will remain in his heart. We have found that life is full of twists and turns and that God guides us into the places He wants us to go for many reasons… and often times into the next place.
On the other hand, the fact that you dreamed this repeatedly for a week and a half and that it has been fulfilled means that it is IMPORTANT, and because of this, the relationship will more likely be permanent! Continue to seek to listen to your dreams as a priority. Expect to sail ahead to a wonderful partnership as a team.
