April Dream Pool Winner
We thank those who submitted dreams to be chosen as monthly DREAM POOL WINNERS, RUNNER-UPS, or QUICK-PICKS.
The DREAM POOL is currently CLOSED while we re-evaluate the program.
In this post, we look at a prophetic dream submitted from GEORGIA.
THE DREAM-
An unknown/unseen person in the dream ordered me to go fetch a glass of milk. When I delivered it, the person started laughing and said I didn’t really need the milk and should go back and get water instead.
I was angry and said NO, that the child I brought the milk for was going to drink it!
A little girl about the age of 5 or 6 was dressed in a Snow White costume.
I led her by the hand into a gift shop off the hall.
I put the glass of milk to her mouth and tilted it up so she could drink it.
She immediately spit it out all over the front of her dress! I was shocked.
SPECIFIC INTERPRETATION & COMMENTS
Here’s my take:
Since background material was included in the submission, the application of the dream seems obvious. That allows us to post a specific interpretation rather than simply a general one.
This dream is surely focused on your church, and especially its pastor. It looks like it is summarizing what has happened, why it happened, and advising you to take it no further.
God is saying through the dream that The Holy Spirit asked you to go to the scripture and find the basic information you would need to confront the pastor about your concerns. You did so.
Assuming you haven’t felt sure about confronting the pastor further, the dream reveals that doing so would be to no avail. If you feel that you have challenged the pastor fully on the issues that concern you, the dream reveals why you got nowhere.
The reason is that the pastor is not open to hearing you. This point is actually quite noteworthy, as the mess that could be created by further confrontation would not be worth it.
A couple I know well faced this same issue, and soon scheduled a meeting with the pastor hoping to “correct” him. Alas, the showdown took place, and the pastor was offended to the max! The next sermon focused on it, etc. Since they live in a small community, even after a year, bumping into him is awkward as the pastor avoids eye contact and any acknowledgement of the couple.
Your dream discloses that the Lord doesn’t want this to happen to you. The pastor is not be open to what you have to say because, in his view, experience with the Holy Spirit takes priority over the truth of the Word. For some reason, he is not objective about this, and not interested in what scripture says!
Isn’t that sad! The Bible says that Pastors and Christian leaders are held to a higher standard. The truth as found in scripture is not negotiable and can’t be compromised (assuming we use proper hermaneutical principles to interpret the passages).
It isn’t a choice between the Word and the Spirit! We are blessed to have both, and one is certainly not more valuable than the other!
By sharing the Word of God, you have offered a gift. Isn’t this always the case if the truth is shared in love?
By the way, either the church is fairly new, or God sees the maturity of the pastor as minimal, at best… and I’ll bet it’s the second. In the dream, God depicts the pastor as a little girl spitting milk out and soiling her dress for everyone to see! Don’t take the “girl” part too seriously(as opposed to a boy) however, because females in dreams often depict ministers or ministries since scripture tells us we are the “bride of Christ.” But do note how YOUNG she is!
And why Snow White? She doesn’t look so pure to me! This dream element depicts self-righteousness and pride… false purity. God can make himself clear, can’t He!
DREAM ELEMENTS
Unknown person— Holy Spirit
Milk— (a biblical element) basic information in the Word of God
Water— (a biblical element) the Holy Spirit
Snow White— the pastor, how he sees himself
Gift shop—the place gifts are kept– the Bible
FINAL REMARKS
Again, I’m convinced that this was to be posted because many pastors have taken their churches off the rails… that is, are operating at times outside of biblical instruction.
Because experiencing the presence of the Holy Spirit is so awesome, believers may find themselves slipping into making that the top priority at the expense of what we have been CALLED to. In doing so, we can easily become “me-focused.”
Jesus instructed us to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” So, evangelism, clearly, should be our first focus. The Bible also tells us that it’s the Father who draws people to him— so besides sharing the gospel, our job is to PRAY for people.
The idea that the main way people come to know Jesus is through seeing miracles is also inconsistent with general context of the New Testament. Luke 16:31 “If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.”
Then there are preachers whose motives are compromised, and use our bent toward “experience” to increase their flocks and coffers.
And beware of those teaching that Jesus let go of his divinity, and performed miracles solely out of his manhood (implying we can do the exact same). Jesus was both fully man and fully God!
We are called to preach the gospel of Christ, not the gospel of signs and wonders. I love signs and wonders! God-given dreams are signs and wonders! And remember, sometimes this is a mater of wrong doctrine; sometimes just a matter of degree.
Bottom line, beware of those who are not consistent with scripture. Two ways to tell. 1) Know the Word 2) Take a look at their fruit.
May this dream, and all of you, be blessed with pastors staying “on the rails” so to speak.
Remember: Each of us receives our own dreams, and each of us knows our own state of affairs. Dreamers are intended to make the best interpreters of their own dreams as they grow in understanding of the parabolic language of dreams.
I’m not you, but that’s my view! Every Blessing!

I always find it very interesting and sad when some people/pastors focus on either Word or Holy Spirit but not both, after all, you can’t have one without the other! The Word is Holy Spirit breathed. How are we to know the Holy Spirit without the Word and how are we to have the Word without the Holy Spirit? You can’t! God is a God of balance and order. His perfect Trinity in One! Father, Son, and Holy Spirit not Father, Son and Holy Scriptures.
Thank you so much, Pastor Lynmarie!! I am so grateful for your wisdom and willingness to teach others!
We so appreciate your thorough feedback on this! Isn’t God amazing! I hope many read this, especially those who need to because they are questioning what is from the Lord and what is not. We both know God can be radical, and the Spirit surprise us… but we must also take care to see that things match up with the Word, that the WORD and SPIRIT are both revered, and that our emphasis is on bringing folks to Christ. Praying all goes well for you in your journey, and that you find and settle in to such a church. They would be blessed to have you!
This interpretation hit the BULLSEYE! This is exactly what happened between me and a former pastor. The details you gave were astonishingly precise! A few days prior to this dream, I started wondering if it was “right” to just walk away from the church without another meeting! Thankfully, I stopped and asked God what HE thought. Just look at how He answered! Not only did He give ME a dream, but He also gave YOU a dream with my email address to verify mine was the one to interpret. It’s like He wasn’t taking any chances to make SURE I got His wisdom! I’m now even more determined to finish your prophetic dream course. Learning to speak God’s language is ONLY way to get full benefit from the dreams He sends
