We call these RUNNERS-UP. To be considered: follow the submission guidelines, are not too lengthy (125 word suggested), provide a platform for teaching, and include vital information (difficult to briefly define, but may include the need for information regarding people, such as their first names, relationship to the dreamer (and possibly their profession or outstanding feature).
So stay tuned for MORE of these DREAM POOL RUNNER-UPS!
In today’s post, we look at a December dream sent from Dallas, Texas.
OCTOBER DREAM POOL RUNNER-UP #2
I could smell this fragrance. It smelled very good.
I asked the man, “What’s the name of that you’re wearing?”
He said “concept.”
Later on in the night I smelled it again.
Here’s my take:
Concepts are defined as abstract ideas or principles, or general notions.
They may speak of something in reality or something new which is being developed in someone’s mind.
Concepts can be organized into a hierarchy, higher levels of which are termed “superordinate” and lower levels termed “subordinate”… such as chairs as compared to furniture.
Informal use the word “concept” often just means an idea.
This dreams seems to have been what you were looking for: a confirmation to take the risk and go for it.
God is apparently delighted with your idea! My apologies for not getting these interpretive comments to you sooner. God says the time is now!
James 1:17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
First, remember that dreams are almost always about the dreamer, though they may include important information about those within the dreamer’s circle. This leads us to believe that the Lord is speaking TO the dreamer ABOUT the dreamer.
The man in the dream seems to have cologne on. I am confident that that man IS the dreamer!
Why would a dreamer need to know that a concept smells good? Because it’s the dreamer’s concept! It’s the dreamer who has the idea… the new plan.
And why does the dreamer need confirmation to move forward with this idea? 1) Because proceeding with a new plan involves risk… of time, energy, and resources. 2) Because I believe the Lord instructed me in a dream last night to get this out to you!
Remember: Each of us hears from God, and each of us knows our own state of affairs. Dreamers are intended to make the best interpreters of their own dreams as they grow in understanding of the parabolic language of God.
With regard to my take on your dream: I’m not you, but that’s my view!
