Death‒ Category Description
Dreams of living family members dying or dead can be very disturbing. I’ve personally dreamed of my daughter be strangled by tent ropes, my husband lying dead in the street, my mother-in-law dead on the floor, my mother apparently drowned in a kitchen sink. These are unsettling to say the least.
Without experience or training in the matter, we naturally assume that these dreams are literal and prophesying the impending doom of someone we love. Or we may dismiss them, thinking they simply reveal our hidden fears.
While these may at times apply‒ more often, death dreams are not literal and prophesy new beginnings. Understanding this important category can bring great insight.

I have a male friend who I keep up with on Facebook. I recently had a dream that he died. I was very sad and tried to wake up, but could not discern if the dream was real or not, because I was not all the way awake. This is the 2nd time I dreamed he died. The first time was a year ago after I went out with him. In this dream I drove past his house and there were children all in his yard. I was grieving in this dream and woke up crying.In the more recent dream, I was overhearing women discussing his salvation. They said he was not saved because he was an alcoholic. I disagreed and said that he loved Jesus. Then his brother sent me a friend request on facebook. I don’t know whether to tell him about the dreams or not.
Sorry it got posted without full details. In my childhood I used to dream about bells and some one dragging me and I used to call out Jesus name loud. I shared this dream with one of my frnd once and thereafter it stopped. And yesterday I had this snake dream. Please let me know what is it about. Thank you

Hi Rev Lyn…I had a dream saw a child sitting and someone said that bought parents of the boy were dead. He started crying and I had great compassion for him. I then carried him on my laps and begin to cry with him
Hello, Lynmarie:) Thank you very much for the answer. Long time we have a very difficult situation in our family. We are balancing on the edge of divorce. But God is talking to me all these years: don’t go anywhere, keep standing right here, let me fight this fight and I will change you through this tough time too. For our children this is very hard too. They are believers. After this dream youngest daughter was in a christian youth camp, she came back very changed-meek, soft, but for her it is hard to keep these values in such a situation.

Hello. Recently I had a dream. I buried my youngest daughter to not a very deep grave right on the border of our land. Then scouts or members of another organization (they are called – People of the future) went through these places. They planted flowers on some places. Also they planted flowers on the grave of my daughter. When I saw these flowers, I understood, that my daughter died. I began to cry so deeply. Thank you very much for the help in interpretation.

This is amazing, I recently began writing my dreams in an attempt to become more aware of the Holy Spirit. I recently dreamed a old man (unfamiliar to me) was dying in the clinic where I work. The death angel came in and out of the room taking people one by one but the old man remained unharmed. This is one part of the four part dream I had.

Without seeing the other parts of the dream… I would say that the Lord is delivering you from some things (good!), and God is pleased at you’re success in diminishing the influence of the old sin nature. Good job. Keep it up!
