From the Desk of Pastor Raymond

Growing up in the 50’s and 60’s, I had, by all appearances, a normal middle-class childhood with typical childhood successes, failures and, oh yes, some trials.

My parents were very social people who participated in a typical suburban lifestyle, had long-term friends and were never what I would call “political.”

Anything political was well over my head as a youth and even growing up because my parents didn’t talk about it to any degree in our family, amongst friends or between themselves at home.

I’ll never forget where I was and what I was doing when the news hit telling of the assassination of President Kennedy. I felt for the first time a true sense of sadness and national oppression that accompanied the graphic details that unfolded with the whole event.

My feelings or emotions consisted of nothing other than other than true sadness and compassion for the Kennedy family and our nation. It wasn’t a matter of Republican or Democrat, conservative or liberal. It was a matter of hatred and violence disrupting our country.,

The same goes for the gunning down of Martin Luther King. My parents taught me to respect all people, all nationalities and colors. I grew up color-blind, and I had a hard time understanding the roots of the civil rights movement, because I always felt like treating anyone like those folks were treated in Alabama was probably to me the most despicable and mean-spirited thing that could be done to another human being.

Not only was there no love or compassion, but instead a vicious hatred. Where was this coming from? My reasoning short-circuited. I couldn’t reckon this concept with what I had been taught.

After college, when I accepted Christ as my Savior; the Holy Spirit made it very evident and clear that what I had been witnessing and feeling as I observed the mistreatment of individuals who were of a different color and background was instigated from Hell. Quickly I learned how and from whom all hatred and condemnation originates.

It was like putting on glasses that were the right prescription and being able to see clearly! God, and only God, can give us a proper perspective to see truth and what truth is. The Bible clearly states that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth and that His ways are higher than our ways.

It’s only by the illumination of the Holy Spirit and the reading of the Scripture that we can see the Truth in all situations.

The time is upon us now in our nation that we, as believers, need to examine– through the lens of God’s Word– all things that are coming at our nation and at us individually.

Political and social correctness, misinformation, prejudice, and racism are all tools of the enemy. God says he creates all human beings in a divine fashion for a divine purpose and that we are ALL vessels of His handiwork, yet many Americans today despise His creation (male and female… the unborn…), skew His Word, and we let ourselves become tools for the enemy… many times not even seeing it!

And some of us hate the vessels that are different from ourselves. That makes me sad. How can we be useful tools if we have allowed hatred and misinformation to fester in our hearts? God forbid.

I hear people say that we shouldn’t mix politics and religion… yet how is it possible to decipher the truth in anything without the morality and ethical guidance espoused in Scripture?

I pray that I am preaching to the choir on this, and if I’m not, I encourage you to ask God to show you the truth concerning the issues of your life and our nation at this point in history.

God says that we have not because we ask not. He invites us to ask for wisdom. James 1:5– If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. God urges us, “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).

I understand that sometimes the truth is too painful. Sometimes we aren’t ready to hear it. And oftentimes change is uncomfortable. But I challenge you to rethink who and what are you looking to for TRUTH on any issue or on any candidate. Who is your daily guiding light?

Keep asking God to show you truth. He can show you where to turn to find it or tell you Himself in a dream. Prior to the last US election the Lord showed my wife in a dream Hillary Clinton’s aids tugging at the top of her strapless dress to keep it from falling and exposing things. A year later, she was used in a dream to depict someone “running for president” that will not succeed. God will speak if you ask Him to.

The Bible tells us that people in the end time will be duped… fooled, even into following the antichrist and false prophet into a one-world anti-Christian government!

Some of us need to wake up and smell the truth.

Which candidates are willing to move forward full throttle into that one-world government? …perhaps so they can participate in ruling the majority of the world rather than just ruling a nation.

Which candidates are FOR what GOD IS CLEARLY AGAINST? We must vote biblically… especially during this divisive time.

I challenge you to be sure you’re on the right side of truth when you vote. Elections is not about YOUR PERSONAL IDENTITY; it’s about OUR IDENTITY AS A FREE AND RIGHTEOUS NATION. It’s about whether or not we as a nation will be blessed by God and standing against Satan.

God has seen to it‒ depending on who is running our country‒ that the United Sates stands with Israel. In this one way, we as a nation are standing on the right side of truth.

As you stand personally, seek the Lord’s guidance that you will not fall for the enemy’s schemes. We are in an international historical transition that will most likely affect the last chapter of the earth as we know it.

May He say “Well done, good and faithful servants.” And may He find each of us siding with truth.
May God bless us all, and may God bless America!

Remember: Each of us receives our own dreams, and each of us knows our own state of affairs. Dreamers are intended to make the best interpreters of their own dreams as they grow in understanding of the parabolic language of dreams.

I’m not you, but that’s my view! Every Blessing!
