BEING LOST IN DREAMS
Universal Dream Element
So you dreamed you were lost, that is, unable to get from here to there. You knew where you needed to go, but couldn’t find the way, which was strange because you’d taken the same route any number of times.
Maybe there was construction, detours, dead ends, obstacles, too much traffic, or a river between you and that place. You kept trying various streets only to be frustrated, finding that you just did not know how to get from where you were to where you were supposed to be.
Or perhaps you have never been to this place, and the google maps on your phone gave out.

LOST DREAM GENERAL MEANING
There is a place you are supposed to be. Identify it. Move toward it.
WHAT DOES THE “PLACE” ONE CAN’T FIND MEAN IN LOST DREAMS?
Rather than a geographical “place”, these dreams generally speak of a figurative location. And rather than a literal “event” that you are late to, these dreams address any number of things connected to a time-line.
The “somewhere” you are late to may refer to your having completed the numerous steps needed to complete a project, ministry, or endeavor of some kind.. or maybe starting the endeavor.
Or the “somewhere” may be an attitude or perspective change… perhaps acceptance of someone or something.
Maybe God is calling you to get to the “place of forgiveness” regarding someone who offended or hurt you.
And sometimes we need to get to a place where we agree with God, rather than bucking what He’s been doing lately in our lives.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT THE PLACE IN MY DREAM SPECIFICALLY MEANS?
The symbolism of the location or event in a dream must be discerned by the dreamer if it’s not clear in the dream. And remember, an event or location— though literal in the dream— is most likely symbolizing something else.
If you were trying to get to a new job, then a new opportunity MAY present itself to you and you belong there!
If you are considering a new church and you dreamed you were persistently trying to get to a church with an identifying factor in the dream, that’s where you belong- at least for this season.
Look up in our dictionary the meaning of various places… cities, buildings, homes, etc. If you dream you are trying to get to your childhood home, for instance, you are being urged to find your way to the place the Lord knows is safe and where you belong.
