Once again, a post for you to test your dream interpretation skills on.

THE DREAM- FOLLOW THE YELLOW VAN
In this dream, the dreamer is driving a car accompanied by her boyfriend (name not included here) when she is told by the Lord that she is to follow the yellow van with bumper stickers on it. She follows until the van pulls up to an apartment building suspended on water.
She watches as several guys pile out of the van and head into their apartments, but could not continue to follow as she had noticed a girl drowning nearby. The dreamer rushes to pull the girl out, but it is very difficult as if the water is more like mud.
From the dock, the dreamer pulls and pulls the stuck and distressed girl. It is a slow process but when they find success, the girl wraps her legs around the dreamer as the hug and cry. The dreamer sobs and thanks God for showing her the little girl.
At this point the dreamer notices her boyfriend by her side as he wraps a blanket around the girl. Assuming that her mother is unaware that she had been in danger, they rush the girl home in the aforementioned building. Her brothers and sisters are found watching TV in the living room.
OUR INTERPRETIVE COMMENTS
This dream reveals a coming great restoration of your hopes and dreams. Though your heart’s desires have been nearly suffocated, you will soon move to the “place” you belong, a place of freedom and restoration.
This transition may be emotionally difficult and take some time, but rest assured that the lover of your soul, Jesus, will be with you and bring you comfort— as will your friends in Christ. YOU ALONE, though, have the authority, capacity, and strength to usher in this new season by following the promises of God and the hope of a brighter future.

BOYFRIEND
FOUR clues in the dream tell us that the boyfriend in the dream is referring to CHRIST:

WATER BENEATH APARTMENTS
Water carries several Biblical meanings, but in this case, it depicts the Spirit of God These homes are being sustained by the Spirit of God
GUYS EXITING VAN
These most likely symbolize friends. If they are male, it’s because they are leaders rather than followers
LITTLE GIRL
Young girls often represent the hopes, dreams, and promise found in a girl while she has an uncorrupted faith in the brightness of her future
DROWNING

WHO IS THE LITTLE GIRL that the dreamer rescued?
The little girl actually represents the dreamer, or more specifically, a part of her— the part containing the hopes, dreams, and promise found in a girl while she has an uncorrupted faith in the brightness of her future. Interestingly, the dreamer plays two roles in this scene. You might say then, that the dreamer rescues herself!
In dreams, anything is possible. We can be transported instantaneously, play multiple roles, go forward or backward in time, watch ourselves as if viewing with a THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE… the possibilities never end.
